COVID-19 Vaccine Programme Update

It’s important for children and young people and their parents or carers to discuss getting the COVID-19 vaccine and come to a decision together.
The COVID-19 vaccine has been found to be safe and effective in 12 to 15-year-olds and many countries around the world are already vaccinating children in this age group.
Where possible, parents and carers will be invited to accompany their children to their COVID-19 vaccine appointment and will be given an opportunity to ask questions and discuss the benefits and risks of the vaccine.
